I was born in a remote village in the Austrian Alps, near the Swiss border. My journey to working as a psychotherapist has been a meandering one, via several continents and a variety of jobs, including in the entertainment industry. My experiences have given me an intimate understanding of the challenges of artistic professions, the potential stressors of living in different environments from the one you grew up in, how cultures can shape psyche, and the fundamental importance of a sense of community for mental wellbeing.  

 

A postgraduate scholarship in film marketing brought me to Los Angeles, where I stayed on to work as a producer and writer. A lifelong curiosity about the human psyche and a desire to work more directly and meaningfully with people led me to Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, where I completed the MFT program with a focus in Depth Psychology. 

 

I continued my training in Los Angeles at Counseling West, followed by a two-year program at The C.G. Jung Institute in Westwood. I have trained in multiple 

modalities and schools of thought, including somatic approaches. But I always found myself re-gravitating to Jungian depth psychology, which has become the inspiration and foundation of my work with my clients.
